Ministry warns of cold snap
The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology told citizens living near the mountains, especially soldiers, to be careful and pay more attention to their health as temperatures are expected to fall over the next week. Water Resources and Meteorology Minister Lim Kean Hor said on December 11 that the northeast monsoon will increase its influence and cause the temperature to fall in the highlands and mountainous areas. “The minimum temperature may decline to around 17-19 degrees Celsius from December 17 until 19,” he said.
